Default Finger pointing

I think there ought to be a game for finger pointing. See who can try to make everyone else look the stupidest.

How many threads and posts are there to say that everyone else is a poor player.

I see, "I can't get through the desert 'cause everyone else is a noob!" in about half the posts and there's one right now saying everyone that gets past the desert is too unskilled for the last ones.

There's a saying that I'll use that I hope doesn't offend anyone that goes something like, "All groups of girls have one girl of low morals," and goes on "If you don't know who it is then it's probably you."

I changed it up a bit but it applies here. So many people don't want to be thought to be the poor player so they're always pointing fingers. Meanwhile hundreds of players have made it through.

Just some food for thought on finger pointing.

I like that the game can be challenging and I like getting Pick up groups because you never know what you're getting. Losing is just the first step to winning and all that optimistic crap.

All of PvE is easy. If you had any trouble with it, you're not very good.

People are afraid to lose. Try getting a team in Fissure of UW to take a mission they haven't done before. I have and it doesn't work. Lots of people are afraid to try something new and are afraid to learn something new because they might lose.

PvE is easy if you've done it before. If you've played EQ/DAOC/WoW or any other MMORPG then you know what you need to know all the way up to UW and fissure.

If you've never done it then it's hard, and if anything the first 15 levels in GW teach you to move fast and recklessl because you won't die anyway. Then everyone expects people that have been charging in and winning anyway to suddenly know tactics like pulling/splitting/tanking and show caution when casting.

I'm not a big fan of finger pointing, everyone makes mistakes until they learn.

I'm up for anything, the more danger and chance of death the better.

Bah, depends on build and such. There are missions that are very tough without a damage spiker for example, and if you are playing a non-spiking build you can run into trouble. I agree that overall it is easy, but trying it using support characters and the rather pathetic henchmen can be tough.

I'm not necessarily afraid to try something new. In fact, I love experimenting with different strategies and skill combinations, especially with a willing player.

However, if I have tried something in the past, and it has failed, I find it annoying and a waste of time to try it again.

For such reasons, I usually refuse requests to help any low-level character pass from Beacon's Perch to Draknor's Forge (for example). I have no doubt my monk would have a much lower /death count if I had refused such requests outright in the past.

I am not afraid to try new things, but I don't want to go to UW or FoW because I heard that rangers are supposed to pull and use traps, and since i don't do either (lightning skills and poison) I don't want to join a group with them expecting something I am not.
